Pledges applying for membership must meet the attendance requirement, 6 attendance points per semester.

 

Each event is worth a variable number of points. Points are listed both on the calendar and in weekly emails. For example,

• Percentage night: 1 credit

• Speaking event: 2 credits

• Medical school trip: 3 credits

• Volunteering at a RAM clinic all day: 4 credits

• Attending AED National Convention: 5 credits

Members who want to remain in good standing must meet the attendance requirement, which is 6 points per semester.

 

Members who do not meet the attendance requirement for a semester will be put on PROBATION. Until they meet the attendance requirement the next semester, they will be ineligible to do the following:

• Go on medical school trips

• Attend AED National Convention

• Run for an officer position

• Wear AED regalia at graduation

• Apply for AED scholarships
